Our thoughts...
More profound wisdom most can't discern until the day they become victims...
The Devil intrusively infiltrates your life, masquerading as an angel of light, extending a "helping hand" or "gift" to lure you into his grasp; through the years, he gains your loyalty using your weaknesses. He knows the Scriptures well and has learned to utilize them for selfish gain. His Diotrephic nature takes advantage of your friendship and manipulates complete control over every aspect of your existence. He takes inventory of your privacy and personal struggles to embellish it towards those he seeks to recruit against you, condemning you. He's a prideful bully whose unrighteous craft has you isolated and uncertain of everything, down in discord, sad, lost, and sick, relying on him for guidance, a sociopathic narcissist, toxic and unscrupulous, cunningly utilizing head science towards his selfish ambition. He is a heavy-handed brute, cold, without remorse or compassion; he doesn't care about you. Once you are no longer found useful to him, he discards you and treacherously betrays your heart to further his malicious agenda. He proceeds to take a healthy congregation and fabricates chaos and division, provoking drama to appease his jealousy, bitterness, and self-righteous pride, filling the air with anxiety and fear. He takes control of the pulpit and begins to push out everyone who does not bow down to his ego. When you try to defend yourself, he shuts you down with violent intimidation, throwing you out and slandering your integrity, never permitting the truth to be heard. He embarks on a campaign of whispers and gossip to slander and bear false witness behind your back. His native tongue is a lie; he does nothing but deceive and build disciples for his preeminence, and those weak spirits follow their new taskmaster whipped into submission. He emboldens behavioural delinquencies, flattering the worldly, and facilitates an associated beast for his corruption plot. He's now the gatekeeper puppeteering his devoured loyalists abiding by his will. He continues spreading cantankerous nonsense about the faithful, those he has trampled and abused. Not satisfied with that, he refuses to welcome other believers who might expose him for who he truly is; he sends them off in despair, weeping. He brings reproach to the name of Christ. He is known in the community as a tyrant and evil hypocrite. He'll spit you out if his cunning duplicity cannot devour you. He loves power, control, and money and accuses you of everything he is found guilty of. His track record speaks for itself, leaving a trail of dismantling, depletion, division, and sorrow, breaking up families, and shutting down hope. He's a stumbling block, and the church he has devoured no longer belongs to Christ; God has since withdrawn Himself from that location.
The Devil has the world, so why bother with it? His focus is among us, a wolf in sheep's clothing. And though some Christians have been reading such spiritual threats in the Bible for decades, the moment comes, and they can't discern right from wrong, being idle and vain, vulnerable to unrighteous subjugation, becoming twice the children of hell.
Countless sorrows have been happening in the church for ages and, sadly, will continue until the Day God sets justice for all who have been greatly sinned against.
Take courage, brethren,...
For those who survive and heal from the oppressor's venom, know this: God is just. He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled. Our eternal freedom will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed in blazing fire with his mighty angels from heaven. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. The Justice of God will punish evil workers with everlasting destruction and shut them out from the Lord's presence and the glory of his might.
Cling fast to the humble, seek His Majesty's faithful house; your loving brethren will comfort you, and the Word of God will give you answers and guide you into a healing season, strengthening you with more excellent service in His kingdom. Be focused and occupied with evangelistic endeavours, benevolence, fellowship, and other upright practices.
"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." - John.
