Our thoughts,
The Devil abused us, diminished our confidence, barraged us with malicious words, took advantage of us, and pretended to be our friend while doing so; he told us we could no longer proclaim the Word of God nor minister to people we love. We had to obey the Devil or face the consequences. We decided to continue to follow Jesus, love people, and meet those kinds of implications instead. We continued to follow Jesus and love people because our life meant nothing without Him; there was no other purpose for us on this earth. Of course, this greatly angered the Devil, who accused us, slandered us, tried to condemn us along with him, recruited against us, and bore false witness. But the Devil cannot win over what belongs to Christ because "the one in you is greater than the one in the world." The wise can discern insight, the wisdom that comes through the hands of sorrow; fools, however, remain led by the blind.
Dear friends. We must not permit the divisive and quarrelsome Devil to devour our souls; he will stop at nothing to conquer preeminence over our life. We must continue to follow Jesus; He will guide us through the storms ahead. The key to our survival is independent faith through humble reading, believing, and obedience to the Word; for grace flourishes in such ways. Peace and hope be with us all through our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
Your servant,
SM
