Don't Give Up
My thoughts...
No matter how difficult and aggressive the challenges we face this Day, though perhaps tempting to compromise and drift away, we must not fall prey to evil workers. The truth may initially find resistance, but it liberates the minds of its joyful recipients. And persecution from those once near to us may bring sorrow, yet we must never fall headlong with them. We have a beautiful reward awaiting us one Day. We remain focused and positive, productive in pressing on. What other viable option can bring such hope?
"You do not want to leave too, do you?" - Jesus.
"Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life." - Peter.
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." - Jesus.
We are not alone in this walk; faithful brethren have lived this life before us and still among us. Our Master will not abandon us.
"And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." - Jesus.
