Our thoughts,
We know what hate looks like, both outside and inside the church, and we know what love looks like, both outside and inside the church, so now we don't need to be confused. Life learned the hard way is still life learned. Once you've faced your Judas, experienced discord, suffered through slander, struggled with temptation, and learned the reality of duplicity, you may lose part of yourself, but that part is replaced with the tender mercy of Christ. From darkness to light, His grace helps repair our broken pieces; we live with patience, kindness, gentleness, compassion, and forgiveness. We focus on His local assembly. We minister to our needs. We comfort when sick and strengthen when unsure. A new week with new challenges, let's stay close to each other, thank God for the blessings, and weather any storms that might arise.
A gem for our Journey: In ancient times, during the days of old, when there were many widows and many lepers, God saved Zarephath and Naaman. There is hope for us Gentiles yet.
Your servant,
SM
