My thoughts...
"If I tell you, you will not believe; and if I ask a question, you will not answer." - Jesus.
The religious leaders of the day were constantly trying to snare Jesus, confront Him, and have Him murdered. They could not stand His genuineness, so they fell headlong, accusing Him of everything they were guilty of.
Friends, wicked wolves among us will choose to cause chaos in like-manner. They will continue to masquerade as "angels of light." And will deceptively persuade manipulated loyalists to follow their swine off the cliff. It doesn't matter what you tell them, what evidence you present, or what questions you ask. And though we love and pray for them, we must withhold, withdraw, and remain on the straight and narrow. Time is too precious to squander upon the prideful preeminence of corrupt delinquents. Whether kin or kind, we need not remain under their fear and control one minute longer.
Three peaceful points to follow and focus on,…
1. Let us not dwell on Judas (Lk. 22:3)
2. but instead receive strength from heaven (Lk. 22:43)
3. and remain focused on Christ (Lk. 24:38-39).
Our Day of Justice is coming (2 Thess. 1:6), and we must always be ready for our departure (1 Thess. 4:17-18). Till then, we remain productive as legal citizens of His kingdom (Mt. 16:18), and He will find us working when He returns (1 Thess. 5:2). He will bless the faithful, for "we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Rom. 8:28).
Your servant,
