Our thoughts,…
The Devil comes into your life masquerading as an angel of light; through the years, he gains your loyalty using your weaknesses. He knows the law well and has learned to corrupt and exploit it for selfish gain. He takes advantage of your friendship and manipulates complete control over every aspect of your existence. He's a prideful bully whose unrighteous craft has you isolated and uncertain of everything, relying on him for guidance. And once you are no longer helpful to him or perhaps becoming wise to his ways, he discards you and treacherously betrays your heart to further his Diotrephic agenda. He proceeds to take a healthy congregation and fabricates chaos and division. His native tongue is a lie; he does nothing but deceive and build disciples for his preeminence, and those weak spirits follow their new taskmaster down slanderous endeavours. He emboldens behavioural delinquencies, flattering the worldly, and facilitates a recruited beast with three heads. He's now the corrupt leader puppeteering his slaves into submission. He continues spreading malicious nonsense about the faithful, those he has used and abused. Not satisfied with that, he refuses to welcome other believers who might exhibit him for who he truly is. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church. If you cannot be devoured, he'll spit you out. He loves power, control, and money and accuses you of everything he is found guilty of. His track record speaks for itself, leaving a trail of dismantling, depletion, division, and sorrow, breaking up families and shutting down any hope. He's a stumbling block. The arsonist masquerading as fire chief sets ablaze and swoops for the "rescue," leaving a trail of ash and destruction.
The Devil has the world, so why bother with it? His focus is among us, a wolf in sheep's clothing. And though some Christians have been reading such spiritual threats in the Bible for decades, the moment comes, and they can't discern right from wrong.
These atrocious ordeals have been happening in the church for ages and sadly will continue until the Day God sets justice for all who have been greatly sinned against.
Take courage, brethren, for those who survive and heal from the oppressors' venom, know this: God is just. "He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled. Justice will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his mighty angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might."
“Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world." Remain focused and positive; learn the humility God has blessed you with.
Your servant,
